1. Payment method. Never under any circumstances pay someone that you do not know with a wire transfer or personal check. I have heard so many horror stories of scam artists ripping people off using this method. If you cannot pay with paypal, a credit card, or a debit card, then avoid the seller. From what I hear this is one of the top money making online scams.
2. Business opportunity. I am not here to bash all high priced “business opportunities.” However, I think your money is much better spent with affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing is free to start, and you can spend all of that money you were going to spend on the opportunity on real advertising methods.
3. Unrealistic claims. Many people make claims that you can make $5,000 by tomorrow, or $2,500 a day guaranteed. Nothing is guaranteed, and while a business system may be phenomenal it is up to you to put it into place and make some profits. No one is going to do the work for you, so if you are thinking of starting an online business you must be willing to do a little work to earn the big bucks.
Money making online scams are abundant, but follow the advice above and you should be able to avoid any of these situations.
